So...

I left for our annual camp without much warning. I was really excited, I guess, and I wasn't disappointed. Every year it seems to get better; the people are more like family, and the actual site is more familiar.
Seriously. It's my paradise.
So, although they are unlikely to ever read this, a big shoutout to Alex, Scott, Lucy, Catherine, and even Tom and the other *brothers* too You guys make my entire year!

Plus I got school'd on epic music too ^^ ty scott
By the way, I /did/ try to write there, but there were way too many distractions. (bow chicka bow wow!)

btw - tried to find a mood that matched me. I meant a farewell, rather than welcoming.

Christmas isn't a big deal for me, but it's nice to see everyone so happy. The thing that interests me is that from my limited understanding, if Jesus was still alive in the mortal sense, I doubt he would approve of the harsh consumerism that now seems to represent our Christmas. For instance, in China, many people are unaware of the religious significance, simply using the opportunity to bag bargains.
Please tell me that I'm stupidly wrong.

But I love the new year ^^ absolutely love it it feels like a fresh start. It's the human in me, I guess. So I've been offline for a few weeks, and it's been good! I've been a little too busy =/ hehe
But lots has happened!

My darling cat Furgie got into a fight with the nasty cat next door, and survived a few incidental injuries. My brother, bless him, ran after the other cat with a catapult. I don't think he'll be bothering Furgs again
I got a haircut, which I loved, and promptly ruined it by trimming it too much.
I met a really awesome Scottish girl, who's here for a few months =] She's funny!
And camp is coming in about a week. As soon as I come back, I have to leave again! But it's for a good cause, I absolutely LOVE the camp we go to, and some of the best people in the world camp with us there!

I'm thinking of entering a poem into fluttering's competition, but unfortunately I will have about a week to write it and submit it.

It's the aussie's birthday today. he was my classmate. But not my friend. He's an aussie

Sorry for all the deviations that I haven't commented on. I promise I read all of them eventually. The problem is that they seem to come in huge chunks, and I end up sitting down and doing a whole blitz of them with a bar of chocolate to aid me.
I won't comment if someone's already said what I think.

My beautiful cat is blocking the laptop screen, because she wants my whole attention. The screen is so small that she vlocks it entirely, so sorry for any spelling errors T_T it's all her fault I tell you!
